Chronic Sunshine: a state of mind; positivity and happiness for an infinite amount of time
My name is Shanon. I’m 27 years old and I live in Massachusetts with my amazing husband, Mike, and our 2 year old Chihuahua, Sophie. I am a medical secretary, a photographer, a writer and a patient of many doctors.
Despite all my health issues, I try to stay positive. I’m staying as active as I can and doing as much as I can because I never know when or how severe my next flare up will be. It’s difficult being young and facing these types of challenges but attitude is EVERYTHING! You have to find the humor in the situation, no matter how serious it is. So my hope is that, through this blog, I can share my life and experiences and maybe help someone else to find happiness despite their illness. We may have chronic health issues, but we can still be chronic sunshine, too!
